Our take
Hard to justify the purchase without more info. Maybe wait for reviews or a sale.
Obakeidoro 2: Chase & Seek puts you in a classic game of cat and mouse. You choose between escaping as a human or hunting as a monster. This format can be a lot of fun but it's crucial to see how DSGame expands on the original concept. Without any reviews or user ratings, it's hard to judge if it offers enough variation and replayability to justify the $24.99 price tag. Similar indie games often thrive on multiplayer chaos or unique mechanics; with minimal information, it's unclear if Obakeidoro 2 brings anything fresh to the table.
Pros
- Gives you the chance to play as a monster
- Casual and easy to pick up
- Offers both escape and hunting gameplay
Cons
- No reviews or ratings yet
- Price is high for a casual indie game
- Limited description on gameplay
You either escape as a human or hunt as a monster. It's a chase-and-seek game where roles define your actions.
On Switch 2
No performance data is available for the Switch 2 version. Looks like it's a native release, though.
Who it's for
Those who enjoy casual chase-and-seek games with lightweight mechanics.
