What is this site?

Switch 2 Games is an independent catalogue of every Nintendo Switch 2 game: released, announced, and upcoming. We aggregate ratings, pricing, trailers, and release dates so you can decide what to play next and find the best price.

We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo. This is a fan-built resource for the Switch 2 community.

How Ratings Work

We display two types of scores for each game:

  • Metacritic Score: a weighted average of professional critic reviews, sourced from RAWG.io. Scores range from 0 to 100. We consider 80+ excellent, 60-79 good, and below 60 mixed.
  • User Rating: an average of player ratings on a 1-5 scale, also sourced from RAWG.io. This reflects community sentiment which sometimes differs from critics.

Games are ranked in our Top Rated section by Metacritic score. Only games with confirmed scores are included in rankings.

Data Sources

Game data is aggregated from multiple sources to ensure completeness and accuracy:

  • RAWG.io: game metadata, descriptions, genres, ratings, and screenshots
  • IGDB: trailers, cover art, release dates, and developer/publisher info
  • Nintendo eShop: current US pricing and availability
  • Nintendo Life, Nintendo Everything, GoNintendo: news articles via RSS

Data is refreshed automatically daily. Prices shown are in USD from the US Nintendo eShop.

Editorial Policy

Every game page includes an editorial section with a verdict, pros and cons, gameplay breakdown, and Switch 2 specific assessment. These are written with a focus on practical buying advice: what the game does well, where it falls short, and who it’s best suited for.

Our editorial content is independent of affiliate relationships. Game rankings are based on aggregated critic and user scores, not editorial opinion. We aim to be:

  • Transparent: all data sources are credited. Affiliate links are clearly labelled.
